Andrew E. Sutton, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Sutton has been in practice in the Atlanta area since 1993. He grew up on Long Island, NY. He graduated from Rice University in Houston. He began working in otolaryngology while in college at the Neurosensory Center of Houston participating in balance or vestibular research for NASA. He attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where he completed his medical degree and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Most recently, he is a member of the Clinical Faculty at Emory University School of Medicine in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He serves as in instructor to Emory residents in ENT with emphasis in ear surgery. Additionally, he has served as past Chairman of Otolaryngology at Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Sutton is well trained in the treatment and diagnosis of all aspects of ENT. One of Dr. Sutton's interests include speech, swallowing and voice disorders. He has had recent laryngology training at Columbia University in NY in the newest diagnostic techniques. Other special interests include sinus disease, ear surgery for disease and hearing reconstruction as well as skull base surgery with additional training in neurosurgery. He has served as a consultant for new equipment technologies. In the past, he has also helped Northwest ENT participate in a national clinical research trial for new drug therapies in sinusitis with researchers from the Mayo Clinic and University of Buffalo. Dr. Sutton currently serves as Secretary of the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, Legislative Representative of the Metro Atlanta ENT Society and is an active member of the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is also serves as the Executive Medical Director for the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. Dr. Sutton lives in Marietta with his four active children. Family interests include tennis, competitive volleyball and lake activities.
