Ryan M. Kauffman, M.D.
Although he is trained in all subspecialty areas of Otolaryngology, Dr. Kauffman’s areas of interest include allergy, nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He is trained in allergy and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and he is able to utilize allergy drops placed under the tongue (sublingual immunotherapy) instead of allergy shots in many patients. A natural extension of his interest in allergy, Dr. Kauffman is also a skilled nasal and endoscopic sinus surgeon when medical therapy is inadequate. Dr. Kauffman received his pediatric ENT training at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and is excited to offer operative services at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta facilities including Scottish Rite. He is excited to be a part of the Northwest ENT and Allergy Center team, and can take same day appointments in most cases. Dr. Kauffman is married to his wife Lindsay, and they have one daughter, Kamryn. Lindsay is also a native of Georgia, and is an active member in the Cobb County community. When not at work, Dr. Kauffman enjoys spending time with his family and exercising outdoors.
